A recognized expert in public health and HIV prevention, Dr. Khare has directed multiple Targeted Intervention Projects under the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), strengthening prevention services, community outreach, counselling, testing, treatment linkage, and rehabilitation for vulnerable populations. He has also actively supported the Government of India’s Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan through nutritional assistance, counselling, and community-based tuberculosis awareness initiatives.
